All along the plan had been to trick Elinor into entering Calstone Clinic, no one would ever dare spend the night there certainly not alone, not with the reputation the house had. Elinor wasn't locked in of course, she could get out but the fun was leaving her there, to face the ghosts Sarah had heard inhabited the old rooms. It was rubbish of course, there was no such things as ghosts but the old place was certainly creepy.

As the car drove away she glanced back to see the figure of Elinor waving at them from the conservatory window, although she couldn't hear her she knew the other girl was calling for them to stop, to come back.

Elinor screamed at the car to come back. Why had they left her here in this horrible old place? With a sinking feeling she realised this had been Sarah's plan all along. To trick her into coming here, to leaving her here in what was probably the 'haunted' house of the area.
