Default Flute
Here's the flute. It's divided in three packages to make it easier for me to make changes
and for you to re-download only the updated ones (songs tend to be pretty space consuming).

The assets for this istrument (object, animations and tunes) are just place-holders.
They will (hopefully) be improved with time by me and (hopefully) other contributors.

Objects Info
Flute. Price 150.
Vertices 116. Polygons 178. 3 recolorable channels.
Where: BuyCatalog:
- ByFunction / Entertainment / HobbiesAndSkills
- ByRoom / Living / HobbiesAndSkills

Issues: project wrong shadow and recolorable channels messed up.

ANIMATIONS
These are just place-holders, when I have a better mesh I'll try to improve them.
Fingers not animated.
Stiff animations (only the upper part of the body moves)

TUNES
"Playlist" (classical music oriented) with 8 tunes, two per each level.
Don't use headphones, some have a loud and scratchy noise at the start.
Other users have not reported any weird sound, but be careful.

Default Sax
The sax was made by mspoodle1.

Objects Info
Name: Alto Saxophone. Price 350.
Low Mesh: Vertices 446. Polygons 282.
High Mesh: Vertices 956. Polygons 887.
3 recolorable channels, 3 presets.
Where: BuyCatalog:
- ByFunction / Entertainment / HobbiesAndSkills
- ByRoom / Living / HobbiesAndSkills

Note: when the object is placed somewhere (on the ground or slotted somewhere),
its neck is hidden (my request to make animations work correctly).

Note: in order to keep the complexity of the mesh in check (my request), some details were
added using plain faces+textures (like the bicycles wheels), so they are lost from some angles.

ANIMATIONS
They are very basic. My bad.

TUNES
Only 4 tunes (none for level 3). I wanted to use mostly jazz and blues songs,
but unfortunately I wasn't able to find much material (instrumental solos) of any
genre and other songs (from TS1) caused issues (resets and even crashes)
that I wasn't able to fix.
Credits: 3 of the songs are from: http://www.capotastomusic.com/alto-...-music/easy.htm

Great work! Though I wonder why you don't do a custom skill? If I remember correctly you did custom skills before right? I guess a simple placeholder skill (no challenges, no achievements) would be better

This is amazing, can't wait to try it. I could help with tunes if you'd like for the different instruments/levels.

Wow! I cant wait to try this. The ability to have different instruments is amazing! Will there ever be any ability to get the sims together that learn these instruments and have them perform, like as an ensemble or in a band?

Arsil, this was an amazing idea!

Can you possibly try the cello? If not, that's okay.

Thanks!

You've done it again, Arsil, simply amazing, a lot of people have ideas for mods but rarely do they ever attempt to actually do it so yay for you.

Love this! I just wish there was a flute that looked more realistic. I play the flute and it has keys and things like clarinets and oboes do. Can you make one like that too? That would be amazing! I have been trying to find something like this forever.
