Tric, you've done it again! The time you must spend creating all of those magnificent angles is truly amazing. If I had half the patience......

Hi strangetownchick, I use a cheat code boolpropconstrainfloorelevation false. There are tutorials on how to use it, but to be honest, it took me a long time to learn how to use it. Why can't you download houses? I'd love to help you figure out why so you can download all the houses you want. When you download a house do you save it in my documents EA games Sims2 download folder? Cause my computer has another download folder that stuff saves in if I'm not careful. Then after you save the lot, you go into the download folder and find it (usually looks like 3 little books) and you right click on it and choose extract here. In a few seconds you'll see a sims2pack icon, usually at the bottom of your download list, with the name of the lot. Double left click on it and the game installer will open and ask if you want to install. Click install and then the game will tell you it was successfully installed. Of course your game isn't running while you do this. After that it should be in your lots catalog. PM me if you need more help!
