WOW LOL, I'm going to be far away from any of these listed group of band genres, but I'm inlove with System Of A Down.

I feel like reviving a thread so yeah,

well...
I really like anything that has to do with rock. I really like the classics: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Queen, Journey, Styx.
Modern stuff is good too: We are Scientists, Muse, Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, All American Rejects.

@mattc117: Blue Oyster Cult is amazing, I went to see The Wall by Pink Floyd last month

@matt: thnks it was really cool, like they spent the entire show building a wall and knocked it down at the end, it was epic because it was like 5 stories high and they projected scenes onto the wall.

I've recently rediscovered the Beatles, totally awesome. Kids my age never seem to appreciate the classics. I've also gotten into Matt & Kim, this cool indie band. They seem well-known, but no one in my part of the country has heard of anything other than Tim McGraw and Johnny Rebel.
