My parents knew that small town had nothing to offer to my future so we immigrated to the Americas. It was hard going to school, I spoke no English and my customs were still of a small girl from a small village. I was modest and in a desperate attempt to make friends I would read fashion magazines over and over, mimicking the styles. That brought me my great sense of fashion
