Default New Alien Skintone
I'm exactly sure what I'm lookin for other than a skintone I can use to replace the green maxis one. I want it to be a more realistic skin color, yet different than the maxis 4.
I'm thinkin a darker color w/ maybe even a purple hue to it... (yeah I know I said more realistic :D). If not darker then maybe the opposite to a near white. I did consider usin the mannequin grey ... but...not sure on that and I think I would rather go darker rather than lighter.

I'm also lookin for an eye color to go along with it, again I'm thinkin purplish, like a deep violet.

I don't know if this exists, but thought I'd see if someone might have some suggestions ..

I'm not sure about your preferred aesthetic, but I found these alien defaults that seem to match your description:

There are several default alien eye replacements over at the default database, but CuriousB has one with a black sclera and purple iris - preview since her download links are now merged under one link on the first page of her dreamwidth.

Edit: Oh, maybe this one by CuriousB will work too.

Thanks... I like the eyes.. think that might work. The skins though ... first one is a bit to ... ummm... light purplish. I'm thinkin a deeper purple to an almost black sorta ..
The second one is nice 'n dark, but it has more of a blueish hue ... I will keep it in mind

I sort wished I knew how to and I'd make it myself as I'd really like it if there were a few variations between what I'm lookin for and the maxis dark (or Jawusa's darker).

1) Making default skins is very easy if you start with an existing replacement. All you'll need to do is switch out the existing textures in the default with the textures from the skin you want to use. Here's a tute: http://modthesims.info/t/129993

2) Or, there's the Default Database for skins. Maxis-match here: https://sims2defaults.dreamwidth.org/333689.html and semi-realistic here: https://sims2defaults.dreamwidth.org/333947.html Just scroll down to the alien section of each one.

I don't know if there's anything at the database that'll match what you're looking for, so you might be best off trying to make your own. Then you'll get exactly what you want. The worst that'll happen is that it won't work.

EDIT: Although, now that I'm looking more closely at that tute, I'm not sure why the author extracted textures in BodyShop and then converted them to PNGs. All you really need to do is open the skin you want to use as a default in SimPE, go to the texture images, and export them. (Click on each one, then when the image comes up in the Plugin View window, right click on the image and choose "Export." Save the images to a folder on your desktop. They'll extract as PNGs.) Then, open the existing default that you're going to mutilate and replace its texture images with the ones you extracted, which is Step 3 of the tute I linked, so follow what it says. Done.

I'm mostly found on (and mostly upload to) Tumblr these days because, alas, there are only 24 hours in a day.
