Has anyone ever used the Event feature of the Lot Sync Timer? Maybe it could be used to help set up reminders like that? If not, I'd also like some kind of in game reminder system, as there are often things I forget I wanted to do. If you could type in a name and tell it when to pop up and remind you, that'd be cool.

I am wondering if this is possible and thinking maybe even making a request to midgethetree on Tumblr. Of course it may not be possible to use the game mechanic in this way. I've been thinking of how we sell items in game, it normally means opening a business, placing down a cash register, the whole shebang. I don't always want a business set up just to sell a few items especially for my pickpocket who would rather just sell something quietly on a street corner. How about the action on the sim pie menu that allows sims to sell pets, how about if they could offer items from inventory through that interaction. It could be available wherever they are, so at home or on a comm lot, the other sim can accept or reject the offer to buy the item just as they do the pet.

I'd like to see a hack that increases the chances of a Romance sim rejecting proposals I've got two Romance sims who accepted proposals, and while I came up with story-based reasons why they said yes, I don't want to do that for all my Romance sims.

I've used the 'event' function of the LST, and all it does is list the day the event happens. Haven't looked inside it to see if one can change it to a 'text' option on it, but I rather doubt you can. Pes was very precise on that one. You can edit other strings on it, but the core functionality is beyond hacking I think.

I would like someone to make empty stealth neighborhood templates with Pleasantview Townies and NPCs. Something like meetmetotheriver did here:http://meetmetotheriver.tumblr.com/...d-empty-stealth. I would try it, but I don't have the time nor the knowledge about cleaning templates.

Even better would be an object that we could place in the inventory that would make them always decline proposals, or something that we could change percentage chance of declining proposals on. Some sims ought to be able to get swept up in the heat of the moment, others ought not.

I'd like to see a mod that when sims come to ring your door bell they actually stay put so I can greet them without pausing.
Actually, I'd like a mod that slows walking sims down when I bring a mouse closer so I can click on them without pausing. TS2 sims walk so fast.

There is one: Christianlov's visitor manager-which will slow down and stop all passersby so that you can run out to greet them. If they're friends they'll come inside or in the yard to pay a visit.

@FranH thanks for that. But do I understand correctly that sims these sims will just stand there until I greet? What if I want them only to hang back for 10 minutes in game time?

Yes, they will, but if they are friends with the occupant, they'll come into the yard or in the house. As for the second question, I'd just say that you 'say goodbye' to them as soon as you're done with them.

I like the mod because when the passersby come they don't keep going, and sometimes it gets crowded when a dozen pixels show up to say hi. That's when I tell them all bye-bye and zap them off. But then again, my pixels like their neighbors and friends. They're a very sociable bunch!

Make some sim versions of older consoles like the Atari 2600 and Colecovision. Maybe make some other microcomputers like the Commodore 64, Amiga, and ADAM.

I seem to recall Pescado's debugger having an option similar to that.
I think the interaction contained the word "Schedules".

Use the batbox (debugger) to Nuke > Sim Schedulers. This will cancel ALL scheduled service sims. If you have several servants and only want the maid gone, you'll have to hire all the others back manually.

Squinge's "Selectable NPC" mod can make it easier to hire back the other servants if you want the same ones again.

A complete conversion of the Futureshock set. Or at least some good futuristic build and buy objects. Yes, I know about the partial conversion of the Futureshock set, but only the bedroom items are available. Kinda makes me a sad panda I want to make a space colony hood (but with possible vacations once they discover faster-than-light travel or find that maybe Bigfoot is an alien). But yeah, cannot find much in the way of futuristic doors or counters unless they are heavily Star Trek themed, and I'm looking for something that could be in any sci-fi universe.

I've done some of the ones from debug mode (you can find them on my tumblr), and I know that there is someone else working on converting some of the buy mode stuff. IDK what value it has as a TS4 game yet, but it's one of my favorite TS2 (sort of) stuff packs. :P

This would help me out a lot in my hood where unauthorized pregnancies mean the woman has to hide. I've lost a lot of women to the stupid maid discovering them.
