Laptop died and I lost everything that I hadn't backed up (I'd gotten sloppy/lazy about that) - including my Modthesims account information. Had repeated total fails trying to retrieve my password and no response from the webmaster, so I re-registered as "Sims2Maven" (used to be "SimMaven").

Still inventorying what I need to replace (all the clothing recolors I made for myself, for instance, but I think I remember how to do that). Was sorta smart about saving downloads to external hard drive, so I didn't lose a lot of them and there's just the nuisance factor of unzipping and reinstalling.

And the moral of that is, Back up, back up, and back up some more.
