Default Help with career crafter
I'm trying to make a custom career using Career Crafter, and my created career doesn't appear in game, the only thing that does is the icon, however, everything else, including text and job details, reverts to the career it overwrites. The guide that comes with it is next to useless, as it only details how to create a career and not how to import it into the game, and I can't find any other help online. What am I doing wrong? Is it installed in the wrong folder? Wrong "language"?

It seems every time I save the career in Career Creator 3, it reverts literally everything except the icon back to the default.

Career Creator does work for me -- it saves whatever I do in it -- but exporting the careers from Career Creator doesn't work. So I have to give people the entire Work.iff file and tell them to put it into their Maxis\ExpansionShared folder.

If it isn't saving for you, you might want to uninstall and reinstall the program. I'm using Career Creator 3, which has a date of 2/21/2003. You can get it at SimEchoes, here: http://www.simechoes.org/simechoes1/info/programs.html

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

I think that was the issue, I had to manually re enter all the text and details and such. And got it to work, a bit tedious though.

Also I found out I can't add hats to outfits, so, bit sad I think it uses the skin not the bcf file (or the other way round, I forget which is the xskin).
