Rules

Mods are allowed as long as they are not used to increase the family funds. For example using MCC command to change the number of kids in a pregnancy but you can use it to change the kids gender.
This is on an honour basis here!
You will need to be comfortable with using the money cheat as you will be using it a lot during this challenge.
If you are unaware of the money cheat I am on about I will put it here for you.
First you get the cheat bar up by pressing ctrl +shift +c at the same time. Then enter testingcheats true in the white bar that should have shown up at the top left corner of your screen. You will know it went in correctly as it will show up with cheats enabled. Then you type in money 1200 (for example) to adjust the family funds to the number you toyed in

Save File Preparations

Redecorate one apartment in the spice district, arts quarter and uptown district and the penthouse in the fashion district to be rather run-down, shabby and uncomfortable. Each can have any traits that you want but each must have one lot challenges.
Turn Ageing off for the start of the challenge. The seasons can not be shorter than 14 days (if you are using this challenge to do a story it will help with time scale).
If you want to play with ECO LIVING and BUST THE DUST make sure they are turned on. Otherwise make sure they are turned off as they will add more difficulty.

Your Sim!
When you told your family that you would be a world renowned interior decorator, your family threw you out of their home with the keys to a disgusting apartment in San Mushano’s Spice district with barely enough money for that week's groceries!

Young adult - any gender/sexuality etc.
A money - related Aspiration such as fabulously wealthy
Any traits
Any likes but must dislike shabby décor

Spice District
You walk into the apartment and crinkle your nose at the apartments disgraceful appearance, oh well at least you have a bed and working stove and loo.

Ensure you’re funds are at 1200 via the money cheat
Join the Interior designer career and choose your first gig
Achieve at least level 3 charisma before you go to the first job
You can't earn money in any other way other than your career!
When you have earned 25000 simoleons you can use 23800 to decorate your apartment to a nice level. You CAN’T change wall layout in this apartment
Be sure you are happy with the apartment before you leave build mode after decorating as you will not be entering to decorate again (troubleshooting access is allowed however)
Save up to 35000. Now you can move!
You must do this BEFORE starting a new gig.

Arts Quarter District
You walk into the apartment and crinkle your nose at the apartment's disgraceful appearance, oh well at least you have a bed and working stove and loo. You're moving up in the world! Too bad purchasing this place took most of your savings

Knock your money to 1300.
Take a new gig up
Reach level 3 handiness if you haven’t already along with moving up 2 levels of the charisma skill (unless it’s maxed out)
Reach 35000 before you decorate the apartment. Again your budget is 33700 simoleons, again ensure you're happy before you leave build mode. You CAN NOT change any walls.
Earn up to 45000 so you can move!
Must move before you start a new job

Uptown District
You walk into the apartment and crinkle your nose at the apartment's disgraceful appearance, oh well at least you have a bed and working stove and loo. And it's bigger too You're moving up in the world! Too bad purchasing this place took most of your savings

Knock your money to 1400.
Take a new gig up
Reach level 6 handiness if you haven’t already along with moving up 2 levels of the charisma skill (unless it’s maxed out)
Reach 45000 before you decorate the apartment. Again your budget is 43600 simoleons, again ensure you're happy before you leave build mode. You CAN NOT change any walls.
Earn up to 55000 so you can move!
Must move before you start a new job

Fashion District
Wow, my very own Penthouse! Needs a lot of work but i can do it! Too bad purchasing this place took most of your savings

Knock your money to 1500.
Take a new gig up
Reach level 6 handiness if you haven’t already along with moving up 2 levels of the charisma skill (unless it’s maxed out)
Reach 55000 before you decorate the Penthouse. Again your budget is 53500 simoleons, again ensure you're happy before you leave build mode. You CAN NOT change any walls.
Earn up to 85000 before the next stage!
Must not have a job in progress before moving to the next stage.

Redecorate
You have gotten tired of this look and you're thinking of starting a family so it’s time to adjust. It’s time to decorate again

Knock your money to 1600.
Take a new gig up
Max 3 different skills
Reach 90000 before you decorate the apartment. Again your budget is 85000 simoleons, again ensure you're happy before you leave build mode. You CAN NOT change any walls.
Earn up to 95000 to move to option 2

Family
You’re getting lonely so you start looking for that one who will keep you company and will be happy to stay home and raise the kids

Knock your money to 10000.
Turn on ageing to normal or long for an easier run
Take a new gig up
Max out the parenting skill BEFORE birth of any child
Marry before you have earned 100000 simoleons. The spouse can not have any job or sell anything they make as hobbies
110000 simoleons and you can have a child
Oh no you have been sued because of a faulty sink. Knock your money back down to 30000 as you lost the case.
Earn up to 120000 before you have a second child (redecorate again to add space for the nest pregnancy)
Oh no, your grandparents' home went up in smoke! You gift them 110,000 simoleons.

The challenge finishes when you reach 25000 before the second kids teen years (normal) 300000 (long)
