Default Trying to recreate Vocaloid Characters as aqurate as possible with Custom Sliders in Sims 3.
Hello!
Can you guys figure out how I can make an aqurate Vocaloid-styled face/body sliders as possible?
I know this may be hard to achieve with custom sliders, but I just wonder what you think?
I also know that anime/manga characters in general have thinner bodies and slightly bigger heads to their body height.
(But that´s NOT always the case here.)
And the nose are special too, they have no or very minimal nostrils!
The face center are also placed a bit below the middle on the head, then they have smaller lips too!
What do you think?
Thank you in advanced!

For one thing your character head is too wide compared to the ones in the pictures, try to narrow the sim's head to match the Vocaloid characters better with Jonha's that you could download from this link if you haven't already http://modthesims.info/d/378416. Make the sim less bony looking, thicken the legs more with Jonha's slider that I had linked to you and maybe give the sim a less pale looking skin tone because she looks like a vampire unless that's the look that you're going for. Whenever you're done post more pictures so that I could help you more and I suggest using more custom content if you want better looking hairstyles and outfits that better matches the Vocaloid style to give your sim a more anime look.

Agreed with Squidconqueror,

Anime sims are really difficult to do. What might help is actually not taking it too literally but still have that anime touch to it. Take these download for example:

http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=494507
http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=504263

What they both have in common is that they're not over-done which could happen a bit when creating an anime character. In fact, the best approach that you could do here is looking for cosplayers or realistic artwork. Usually they get edited to a way where there is still that anime going on but not as much. Here is a reference:

Also take in account that this might need quite a bit of sliders installed, here's the place where I get mine from usually: http://oneeuromutt.tumblr.com/post/...ed-by-locations

Hope this helps! If you're thinking of sharing your sim later on, I wouldn't mind moving this thread to Creator feedback

Default How can I create these realistic-looking vocaloid hair and clothes?
As I´m a very impulsive person, I want to create these characters in CAS+create these outfits and mainly these hairstyles in blender too, to import to Sims 3.
Is this possible? I know it´s possible to create the clothing, with some adjustments on the chest area
(Don´t want R-18 or whatever it stands for...)
The hairstyles seems very interesting though, do you think it´s made in the same/similar technique as in Sims 3?
And if not, what do we call this technique and does it applies to Sims 3?
Thank you once again for reading this!

Just a side note: If you do make those super long hair styles, be prepared for them to be clipping through chairs, cars, the floor underneath the bathtub, etc.
