Default Beds that don't clip through blankets
I have a couple bed blankets (jonesi, veranka, moxxa), but I find that I can only really use them with beds that don't have a footboard, or else it clips through far too much for me to be comfortable with. There are a few Maxis beds that work, like the MALM and the one from GLS, but this is obviously a little limiting.

What are some beds that you've seen or use in your game with these beautiful blankies that don't cause clipping-induced cringing?

I didn't test them but maybe these two will work.

Unless I forget, I'll check when I play tomorrow to see if I have any I use myself

I find that if you turn off snapping-to-grid and then shift bed blankets back toward the foot of the bed just slightly, this will often make it so that the footboard clipping disappears. Of course it depends on both the blanket and the bed, but you might want to do some experimenting with that. There are also many different blanket meshes that are slaved to Jonesi's out there. Some of them you can use even with four-poster beds because they, for instance, lay across the bottom of the bed without intersecting with the corners at the foot of the bed at all. IMO, it's better, in terms of keeping your downloads folder size down, to have more different slaved blankets than a bunch of custom beds that you also have to have texture files for and, possibly, matching tables and dressers and whatnot.

I'm mostly found on (and mostly upload to) Tumblr these days because, alas, there are only 24 hours in a day.

Even with snapobjects, I can't get some blankets to work with some beds. So footboardless beds were a good investment for me xD

I like these beds. They are frame-less and can be used with Hannie's "Build Your Own Bed" frames (which have several recolors).
