Occasionally I like playing the Fortune Teller Career and find myself huffing and puffing a little as I struggle to find someplace to stick it in my neighborhood. I get frustrated, move things around and decide I don't like the way it looks. I decided to put together a lot specifically to make the gypsy wagon look a little more attractive in the neighborhood. I present to you: Fortune Tellers Wanted.
This lot is custom content free and requires only base game content. If you don't have one of the expansion packs, the game should substitute the missing object. It's made as a small park (only 20x30) featuring The Gypsy Wagon, which is the big object here that you need and really should have; everything else is optional and can be replaced with any other object to round out this lot.
There's a covered gazebo with chess tables for tournaments and fun, as well as a firepit for Sims to sit around, poke at and roast marshmallows. Towards the back of the lot is a fairy castle for Supernatural players which will allow your fairies to host rocking parties or just hang out. And the small pond has fish for your budding fishermen. This lot was built using a Beautiful Vista lot, so your Sims will have a +15 Moodlet when visiting.
One of the things to note about this lot is a known glitch with the game, and I unfortunately can do nothing about this. I have spawners on the lot for the fish (Fishing Lake Common 1 &2) and because it's a park, there is a Seed Spawner Common 3, A Butterfly Low 2 and Gem Spawner Low (3x) as well. Because of the spawners, when the lot is rotated to be placed, they sometimes multiply, causing a glitch where the fish will jump out of the ground. Again, this is a known game issue which I cannot fix. To correct this, you go into edit town mode and delete the excess spawners. I have included a screen shot of what the spawners should look like.
I hope you enjoy this little lot. It's meant to just give another option for those who like the Fortune Teller career and who, like me, find placing the wagon to be irksome.
Lot Size: 20x30
Lot Price (furnished): 12.070
Lot Price (unfurnished): 12.070

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
I enjoy making projects for The Sims for others to enjoy in my spare time. Use them in your games, in challenges, post Sims in them for pictures - just please do not repost, upload elsewhere or claim as your own. Thank you!
