Description: This is a NASCAR career that will give your Sims the chance to win a Sprint Cup Series Championship and become a NASCAR Legend.

Compatibility: I created this career while using patch 1.67, but it should work fine with any patch. However, in order for this career to work, regardless of patch level, you will need the NRAAS Careers Base Mod found here .

Tones: This career contains all the standard tones, with two additional custom tones:
1) Fitness Training - will increase your Sims' athletic skill
2) Work on Car - will increase your Sims' handiness skill

Factors in Job Performance: Mood, athletic skill, handiness skill, relationship with teammates.

Career Levels:
1) Autocross Driver - $10/hour - 12pm to 8pm - Fri, Sat, Sun.
Do you have a passion for racing? Do you think you have what it takes to become a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver? If so, Autocross competitions are the best place to begin your racing career. Take your car down to the local Autocross track to begin developing your racing skills. If you can prove that you have potential, you may just be able to join a professional circuit.

2) Go Kart Driver - $15/hour - 12pm to 8pm - Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! You are now a Go Kart driver! While this may not be the kind of racing circuit you were hoping to join, you can actually learn a lot from racing Go Karts. Keep working hard and developing your racing skills. If you have enough success here, a NASCAR series is bound to notice you.

3) Whelen Series Driver - $20/hour - 12pm to 8pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! You have made it onto a NASCAR circuit! The Whelen Series not only gives you the opportunity to race another type of car, but it also means that NASCAR is beginning to pay attention to you. If you can have success on this lower-level NASCAR circuit, you may be offered a place in a more advanced NASCAR series.

4) K&N Pro Series Driver - $35/hour - 12pm to 8pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! As a member of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, you are now able to race stock cars similar to the ones that you have always dreamed of racing! While you still have much work to do before making the Sprint Cup Series, take comfort in the fact that many of the best NASCAR drivers, such as Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano, have used the K&N Pro Series to launch their careers. Maybe you'll be the next!

5) Camping World Truck Series Driver - $70/hour - 11am to 7pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! You are now a driver in one of NASCAR's national series: The Camping World Truck Series! You are now only a couple of steps away from making it onto the Sprint Cup circuit! If you keep working hard, and can perform well on the national stage, someone from the XFINITY Series will surely come calling.

6) XFINITY Series Driver - $125/hour - 11am to 7pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! You are so close to achieving your dream of racing in the Sprint Cup Series! The XFINITY Series is just one step down from the Sprint Cup Series. Many Sprint Cup drivers will be racing with you for practice each week, so make sure to pay attention to their skills both on and off the track. What you learn from them could not only make you a better driver now, but could also give you the edge you'll need to beat them in future Sprint Cup Series races.

7) Sprint Cup Series Rookie - $200/hour - 11am to 7pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! You are officially a Sprint Cup Series driver! You now get to race against some of the best stock car racers in the world! Don't get too far ahead of yourself, though. You still have a lot of work to do if you want to actually win some races and become the next NASCAR legend.

8) Sprint Cup Series Veteran - $300/hour - 11am to 7pm - Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! Now that you have some races, and wins, under your belt, your place in the Sprint Cup Series is secure. As a Sprint Cup Series veteran, fans across the country know your name, and your competition knows that you are a real threat to win it all! Keep up the good work, because you are on the path to win a Sprint Cup Series Championship!

9) Sprint Cup Series Champion - $450/hour - 11am to 7pm - Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! All of your hard work has paid off! You are now a Sprint Cup Series Champion! You are now officially considered to be one of the best stock car drivers in the world by both fans and drivers alike. Everyone in the racing community respects you and your talent for racing, and you are always going to be considered a contender for the Championship. If you can win a couple more championships, you may just reach Legend status!

10) Sprint Cup Series Legend - $600/hour - 11am to 7pm - Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Congratulations! After winning several Sprint Cup Series championships, you have reached NASCAR legend status! Fans and drivers alike recognize your unparalleled skill on the track. Just as you looked up to the best NASCAR drivers when you started your career, the next generation of racers are looking up to you!

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Files^wiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).


Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
