I have long been a fan of Midcentury ranch-style homes. They are practical, stylish, and very well-built. These homes were constructed at the cusp of modernity; old world construction materials and pride matched with the most rapid advances in technology seen. Their hardy stone exteriors will last a lifetime, and their hipped roofs will protect and shield against the elements better than any other design. They are simply amazing!
This particular design comes from a real Garlinghouse plan, which I have tried to replicate as exactly as possible. I did omit a fireplace from the living room, and have restyled the exterior to use my Beverly Stone walls, but, overall, I think you'll find it's a close match!
"This expansive ranch home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and lots of style! Dark hardwoods throughout living, dining, and bedrooms. Family room features distinctive wood paneling and pink carpet. Eat-in kitchen boasts spacious layout and pink tile flooring. All baths contain tiled walls and floors. Extensive landscaping and super lot size gives you room to grow - a pool or an addition behind the garage would be fantastic!"
